Saturday, July 15, 2006 It's official. I am a graduate student. Where? In the faculty of medicine. Sounds impressive? nope. Seriously it's just a name. But i'll be doing cancer research related research. It makes me feel good knowing whatever i discover/design would someday potentially help someone. That's a great feeling, as long as it's not prolonging their suffering. Can't wait till Sept. I'll be frosh all over again. But I'm also thinking to myself, is going to grad school a way to delay the inevitable? I mean, great i'll be in school for the next 2 years (at least) and not have to pull a 9-5. It'll happen eventually, and join the ranks of my friends who are already doing it and making a TONNE of $. I don't know. I just know that it feels right, right now (going to grad school that is). I'm not going to plan too far ahead in the future. Beside it's what i want, and I'm getting it, therefore I am so recklessly happy. posted by Ben | | | 10:19 AM |
