Tuesday, May 09, 2006 Post tapeout: BORED. I literally sat at my desk reading random blogs, in between writing up a draft of the test procedures. I was MSN'ing a friend who works in the chem lab down the street to see if he wanted to hang out but he seemed so busy and didn't want to talk. His loss. Sometimes you have nothign to do and want stuff to do. But when you have stuff to do, you get even MORE stuff to do. There's really isn't any balance so to speak. When shit hits the fan, it really hits the fan lol. And when it doesn't, it really doesn't no matter how hard you try. I also went to visit the lab of my potential supervisor at PMH. Great crowd of people. I think I would totally get along with everyone. What's more, they're NOT ALL Engineers! And definitely not all fobbies either. In fact I think for once I'm a minority. It's going to be great. Students from other groups that share the same space all seem to get along so well, and they're so friendly. I think I'm going to like it there. I'm worried that I would need to catch up on a tonne of stuff, especially the biology aspect of things. Anyway this is a definitely a good change. This would be the perfect opportunity to make some new friends, after being around the same people year after year (not that I hate you. i don't! i love you all haha).
