as luck would have it, I got caught in yesterday's public transit strike. it wasn't fun. It took me 3 hours to take the usual 1.5 hour commute. To make things worse, the weather was not co-operating. It felt like 30+ in the morning, which is rather unusual in TO i think. By the time I walked back to my lab, i was drenched in sweat. Not cool (literally). The lab was very quiet though, since there was myself, my co-worker and a PhD guy. It was a good-ish day considering the circumstances.
