Dwele (pronounced 'dwell lay') rocked the house tonight. He played a one-hour set (free performance) of mostly unreleased tracks from his upcoming album (to be released in October) at Harbourfront tonight as part of the Spicy Food fest down there. His grooves are hot. Spicy hot. The crowd didn't appreciate the musical calibre of this man, perhaps he's not as well known here, yet. He's been on heavy rotation in the UK right now. I know because i listen to BBC radio all day long. He's also been play in a lot of underground sets as well. Great music. Well written, arranged and executed. Keep that name in mind, and when he blows up remember where you heard it first ;)
