When certain people speak on the phone, they don't realize how loud they are actually speaking. There's a new guy at the office today (I think he's new, or maybe he's just back from holiday). His telephone voice, I find, louder than his normal speaking voice! My colleague who sits next to me got pretty annoyed by him too. But she did something about it whereas I just sat there and tried to tolerate him, hoping that he'll hang up soon. Am I that much of a wuss? I just don't want to get on anybody's "bad" side, since it's only my 2nd week here. Still, I don't think I would've done anything even if I had worked here for a year. I think this happens a lot too. i.e. last year with my roomate and the car. Knowing this, I think it's time I change things up a bit. but how?
