Wednesday, March 30, 2005 This sucks. I should be updating this more regularly, because my fans are *DYING* to know what's happening in my little world. lol. We've got a replacement TV. Thanks EPN. It works great. The withdrwal was aweful. I hope no one will have to suffer from this again. Dad took the broken TV to a repair shop to see if it can be fixed. Haven't heard back from him since he took it with him. I hope it's fixable. I made a kick-ass poster for our Design Project fair. The it was done on large format, full colour at Kinkos. Damn thing cost $120 to make it. It turned out great so I'm happy. It's now posted outside the graduate students' office in Bahen. We (as in my group and I) also did a presentation to our supervisor's graduate students on the test results. We were completely unprepared and it showed. It didn't realy matter since they didn't care much. Our supervisor asked us to submit a paper on our project to this Conference. I might go to San Diego in September :D booya! Tijuana Here I come....again. Digital Hardware project is done. Chris and I couldn't get everything to work the way we wanted but I think the overall results were good. We managed to read and write to a Compact Flash card. That was a project on its own. I think it rocked personally. I really gotta give credit to Chris though. Damn that guy is good with coding. Either that or I just suck at coding. I also learned this new term called "Extreme Programming". Apparently it's when one person just sits next to and *watches* the another person in front of the computer who is supposed to be writing code. The first person then monitors for coding errors. Interesting. I kinda want to be that second person. What else? Super Mega Fantastic 100% ASian TRIP, that's what! Ya so i'm gonna go all out with my PEY savings and do a whrilwind East Asia trip. In 30 days, I"ll be travelling to Tokyo, Hong Kong, Guangzhou, SHangHai, Beijing *and* possibly Seoul before I come back for convocation. It's gonna be sick or phat or whatever word kids like to use these days.
