Monday, January 31, 2005 I did something I should've done a LONG time ago. I GOT A LIBRARY CARD. I'm willing to bet that you were thinking it was gonna be something life changing or weird. Losers. I got two books. The first is a book on learning Chinese (Recall my New Year post about learning chineses?). Actually I can speak chinese fine, it's just the reading part that I need to work on. I'm hoping to get some words down. Maybe, lets say, 15 a month. That's like one new word every other day. I should be able to stomach that. But if my motivation to learn new words is as high as my motivation to blog...uh...then I should cut my quota down to 4 a month. THe other book: this is a totally random find. Straight off the mystery section. It caught my eye because it was completely yellow. I don't even know what it's called or who wrote it. Mystery books are the only genres out there that can really capture my attention. Case in point: Da Vinci Code. I think that book is more or less a mystery novel. Correct me if i'm wrong. I'm going to Band Camp once again. To Montreal this time. In 2 weeks. The crowd's a lot older, and most of them have jobs. NO hotties. The trip with the Stanford folks was fun, but we went to the middle of no where. But MTL is going to be fun.
