I got all my midterms back. Two of them is a write-off. I'm a bit dissapointed at myself. I'm only taking 4 'real' courses this term. Design project is practically done. I should ace everything. I'm not though. I think partly is due to some crappy profs. but I think PEY made me lazy. My brain is not in shape. Or maybe it was never in shape? My N-sci friends are kicking ass. I'm happy for them. I hope they get into grad school. It's a wastae if they don't.

Last saturday I visited the MedBioPhys openhouse. it's really neat. It made me realize the fact there's a lot of engineering people working in bio-related fields. One example was this guy doing doppler stuff with strands of fibers to look at tumors. Really neat stuff....I'd understand it more if I knew more optics.

Slacked off a bit the last week. Must pick up the pace a little. Exams are around the corner.

I've decided to participate in the Saturday Program....to give something back to the community and get some much needed "leadership" skills. HA! I urge anyone qualified (i.e. you're a grad student or from a professional faculty) at the University of Toronto to do it. It's for a good cause, and it's only 2 hours of your life!

A few friends was at a Puzzle Royale competition on Saturday. It was organized by Microsoft. My roomate tried to form a team but it was too late to register (damn thing was full). They won first place in the school. congrats.

Well, concert 1 is this Thursday. I haven't practiced at all. Let's just see how well I can air-play. I lost my sheet music last Thursday/Friday and i haev NO idea where it could posibbly be. It's really not a big deal, but i'm bitter because of the fact that I can't recall where it could go. Life's a bitch sometimes.

What I'm Listening to currently: I got my hands on a copy of Glen Gould's recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations. I like the 1955 recording more than the 1981 recording. Personal taste. Don't argue! The second album is a Grover Washingtong Jr. record "All My Tomorrows". It's ear candy.

I stocked up on discounted halloween candy today. Prices dropped from $1.99 to 99-cents for those 'fun size' treats. Hmm...I'll be on a sugar high for the next couple of weeks that's for sure.

Here's my inventory so far:

2 x bags Kit-Kat
1 x bag Starburst
1 x bag Coffee Crisp
1 x bag Fuzzy Peaches

Sweeeet meat. If you're nice, you can have some too ;)
