It turns out that the OPAMP layout done (yet). My supervisor did some serious critiqing on it on Monday and I (with the help of my partners) spent the last two days re-working it. It's much better now, but it still has a long way to go. MUST FINISH BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS!

We've gone wireless at home....802.11 that is. Look ma, no wires! I got myself a handy little USB wireless adaptor for my desktop. It's it works well for now. If you're wondering which model I got, it's the D-Link DWL-122 USB-WiFi adaptor. I got it refurbished so it doens't come with any warranty :/ but it was hella cheap. Signal strength is decent at 8Mbps connection. It's more than enough since the Roger's internet conection is around 3Mbps downstream (at best).

Thinkin' about this wifi stuff makes me want to get into communications even more. Did you know that 802.11 uses PSK modulation to transmit/receive signals at 2.4Ghz? Cool huh? The RF electronics aspect is really interesting too. I sort of regret not taking IC Engineering in September because I feel like I'm missin' out on stuff. Then again, the design project is already giving me a taste of what it's like to design for high speed. So many choices! But I think i'll stick to comm for now.

I think i'm going to start a new blog for school related stuff. It'll be a way for me to chronicle my adventures/misadventures as I start (and finish) my final year of undergrad. I'm debating whether or not I should make it public or share it with my closer friends since I'm sure there is going to be some serious profanity in it. Decisions Decisions.
