Saturday, August 28, 2004 OPAMP is done! We are going to show the layout to the supervisor on Monday for critique -- and I'm sure there's going to be a tonne of it. I am glad that we are somewhat on track. We might even finish before the start of school. GO TEAM. My roomie took me to see Broken Social Scene perform at the Harbourfront Centre yesterday. I don't usually (more like hardly ever) listen to this genre but I liked it a lot. In fact I want to hear more. Their sound rocks (no pun intended). The catchy melodic lines are backed by fantastic instrumentation. I liked what I heard. The band played non stop for nearly two hours. There was one song that really caught my attention. It was sung by this girl whose name I've completely forgotten. I think she also sings in a local band called Metric. Her voice was hot. 'nuff said. So was the song.
