Wednesday, May 19, 2004 Why I Like Gmail: Gmail is fast. I mean, really fast compared to even Yahoo mail. Enough said. The ads are not annoying at all, unlike its competitors. It's so easy to tune them out because they seem to blend in with the rest of the interface. At least the ads are related to the subject of the email, which most of the time is pretty helpful. There are also "related pages" which are NOT ads at all. I am so sick of Lavalife or Match.com banners appearing on my hotmail account. Sorting emails rock. Creating labels is like creating a folder in outlook. All emails related to the same chain is grouped together. No sorting necessary! I've been using Gmail for almost a month (1 month this Friday). It still says "You are using 0% of your 1000MB quota". That totally rocks.
