Sunday, May 02, 2004 It seems as though there's something going on every weekend. Trip out to Japantown and Berkeley last weekend and Monterey Bay the weekend prior. It's a good thing because I'll be flying out of the Bay Area *really* soon. This weekend was no exception. Activity: PAINTBALL! A fairly large group of us went out yesterday -- about 30 in total. Even a few co-ops from Cypress Semiconductor came out as well. Being my first time, it took me a while to get used to the pain of being hit by those balls. It doesn't hurt much if the ball breaks as it hits you. But sometimes, they don't! And those really really hurt. Helmets with eye and mouth guard was mandatory equipment. It protected my face but not the top of my head! Should've brought a baseball cap along. It was definitely a lesson learned, because you get hit a lot in the head since you are bobbing up and down trying to see where the other team is. All in all, I walked a way with a few bruises (mostly on my arm and fingers) a lot of paint on my hair. posted by Ben | | | 4:11 PM |
