Sunday, October 05, 2003 My roomate's United Airlines flight was 30 minutes early! That's incredible because flight arrivals and departures are delayed 99.9% of the time. It sounds to me that Toronto is getting *COLD*. I guess I am now truly experiencing what it is like to be in "sunny california". With that in mind, Me and a bunch of others drove off to Santa Cruz for a fun filled day at the beach. It was great, except I forgot to bring my sandles with me. It was either walking with my sneakers on the sand and get sand trapped and lodged inside my shoe or walk bare-feet on the hot sand. Being stupid (as always), I decided to save my shoes from the sand and walked around shoe-less. The drive back felt like being in one of the Initial D episodes. The road was curvy, and there were no lights other than the rays coming from reflectors and head-lights of on-coming traffic. During one of the turns, the driver (who I wish to remain nameless) lost control of the car and almost hit the barriers! Lucikly the wheel somehow prevented the body of the car from scraping the barrier since it was turned in one direction. It's hard to explain, so I won't. I think we all thought we were going to die. lol I'm glad to say we all got home unscathed. posted by Ben | | | 10:43 PM |
