Monday, November 17, 2008 It's about freakin' time that Jerry Yang steps down as CEO of Yahoo. I think others here and here agree with me on this too. posted by Ben | | | 10:56 PM Sunday, November 16, 2008 ![]() New Yorkers were given a copy of the NY Times from the future, July 4th 2009 to be exact, with headlines that included "Iraq War Ends" and National "Health Insurance Act Passes" The stunt is linked to The Yes Men, a liberal prank known for bold and complicated hoaxes. A copy of the online paper is here posted by Ben | | | 11:47 PM Wednesday, November 12, 2008 Via the New York Times: Rack a Node: a lesson on supercomputing posted by Ben | | | 10:45 AM Saturday, December 15, 2007 So the upcoming Canadian Copyright bill has been delayed *whew*. Some of us need to download our shows since we aren't at home all the time! Lol To be honest, I have followed the chain of events very closely nor have I read much into the specifics of the bill. But from what I gathered, this bill does not benefit the consumer or the artist, other than to find ways to help record lables and TV networks to make more money off the work of others. Seriously. Whatever happened to Fair Use. Michael Geist's website http://www.michaelgeist.ca is a treasure trove of information and news and updates on this matter. Really, anyone who disagrres with this proposed bill should write to your local MP so that your voice would be heard. Seems neat, but I've yet to try it. I'll post more later on. The voice is was extremely familiar -- almost European. But upon more careful examination of the ad, the band is in fact CSS or Cansei De Ser Sexy, the same group of who brought you the song Lets Make Love and Listen to Death From Above. You can get the song here. It's called Music is my hot hot sex. Please thank the poster for putting the song up! src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> Labels: CSS, Hot Hot Sex, iPod Touch, Touch Song posted by Ben | | | 4:04 PMWednesday, June 27, 2007 One of the "official" Apple-Sanctioned reviews. Fairly positive things were said. But still, you'd need someone with quite a bit of disposable income to afford one of these. posted by Ben | | | 11:41 PM |
